IS YOUR GOVERNMENT SOCIALISTIC?
Does your government control what your children are taught in school? Do they teach and encourage children to decide whether they are boys or girls? Do they try to discourage you from private schooling or homeschool? Do they pass laws allowing boys to compete against girls?
Does your government attempt to control what vaccinations you take? Do they control media and have any descent to their laws banned on social media? Do they demand face masks? Do they force the military to be vaxed or lose their jobs?
Do they attempt to control what cars you drive? Do they scatter wind turbines across our farmlands, open ranges and natural environments to meet the increased need for electricity? Do they quit pumping oil and cause gas prices to soar? Do they drain the country’s oil reserves leaving us vulnerable in a time of war?

Does the government want to reduce (or eliminate) private ownership and small businesses? Have many small businesses have gone out of business; and landlords unable to get rid of non-paying renters and homeowners unable to get rid of squatters?
Individuals living in socialist economies depend on the government for food, employment, healthcare, and everything else. Does your government not only have an enormous welfare system, but are allowing millions of illegal immigrants to cross the board and receive millions of dollars paid for by taxpayers?
Is your government more concerned about equality and equity than financial responsibility?
Are value judgments regarding green policies made with less attention paid to calculations involving profit and loss. Was there serious consideration of the costs of an open border or the increase in drug trafficking?

Was the country’s concern for the number of lawbreakers in jail or the protection of the hardworking people? Did defunding the police create a greater society? How equitable does the homelessness in the streets compare to the immigrants in hotels with a $3000 Visa card? Yet, this county claims to be the most democratic country in the world.
The problem with defining and identifying socialism is that it is constantly changing and perhaps what it changes into determines what it really is. As a government moves toward socialism, they draw further and further away from God and His principles. Marx’s dislike for religion was revealed in his statement, “It is the opium of the people.” Do we recognize an increase in ideology and policy that goes against our biblical faith?
Our society is changing, but towards what? According to Marx, communism is the end result of socialism. Giovanni Gentile, an Italian philosopher and fascist politician, declared “Fascism is a form of socialism, in fact, it is its most viable form.”
So, if we were to agree with either Marx or Gentile, we could say a socialistic government is characterized by rigid one-party dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition, private economic enterprise under centralized governmental control, and belligerent nationalism. Then we would have to admit that our government is in trouble.

There is no doubt that our government has adopted many socialistic policies. It will be up to the people of this country to decide if we will continue to fight for capitalistic conservative issues or if we will continue to slide down the socialistic path.
