CONCERNED CITIZENS
Several concerned citizens in Adams, Arapahoe, and Elbert counties have been concerned with the political atmosphere of our state, the elections in our local areas, as well as the need for unity in our rural communities. That group, along with the staff at Country Citizens, met for breakfast on Saturday, April 20th, to start the conversation about what we could do to help educate our neighbors and friends about the need for understanding the issues that are plaguing both the eastern plains and western slope.
The meeting was called to order by Ms. Jennifer Adams who led our group in prayer that we would be led by the Lord to know what needed to be discussed. We had a very lively and informative conversation which helped us prioritize concerns and actions that could be taken. We had attendees that were teachers, Republican caucas members, ranchers, farmers, small business owners and retired persons.

- Land Rights, Water Scarcity, Electricity and Wind Turbines and Fracking Restrictions
- Cattle Prices and Restrictions, Proposed Laws Against Meat Processing
