Traffic Jam
The increase of population in the town of Bennett has caused the board members to search for short and long term solutions for the fast paced growth. The amount of houses that have sprung up along the corridor in the past few years, has exposed the need for more amenities, improved infrastructure and services for the influx of people to the area. Although some might cry out for more restaurants to meet the need, others recognize that the streets and overpasses are going to need major attention, and fast. The amount of cars accessing the Bennett ramps off of I-70 have caused both the ramps and bridge to fall into ill repair. The town of Bennett has opened this conversation to the public. In an effort to give them a voice in the process of future planning and repairs, the board has published an interactive map for the public to voice their concerns. That map can be viewed here.
