VISION OR DIVISION
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Prov 29:18.
Prov 29:18.
As we enter this election time, a time to choose leaders who will represent our values and standards, it requires us to look deeply into our vision for our beloved country. Do we have a vision? The scripture says that without a vision we perish (KJV), run wild (NLT), can’t control ourselves (NirV), cast off all restraint (NIV). Does that sound like what is going on in not only the streets of our country but emulated in the Democratic leadership of our government.
When Habakkuk questioned God about the violence and corruption in Israel, God said “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” We understand from Proverbs 29 that the vision is in the law. Keeping the law makes man happy and yet we have a movement in our country that not only allows the lawbreakers to use jails as overnight motels and subjects law enforcement to humiliation, intimidation and inability to do their jobs, but question the validity of our Constitution and even disrespect the decisions of the Supreme Court of our land, and demand the impeachment of Supreme Court Justices that don’t agree with them.
The Democratic Party has adopted the silly notion that murders, thieves, abusers of themselves and others deserve sympathy and 2nd, 3rd and 4th or more chances. Well, what about the Jan 6th political prisoners who are still detained in jail without bail??? They are releasing criminals and detaining citizens of the United States. Is this our vision of the U.S.A?
The Word says that vision is divine guidance (NLT), word from God (NCV), message from God (NirV), or revelation (NKJV). God already has given us this prophecy or revelation…the laws of the Kingdom, but people will not accept it. Even professed Christians deny the significance to the commandments of God or of our Constitution.
Speaker of the House, Pelosi, confessed that she is a good Christian but she believes in abortion. I guess she doesn’t consider abortion murder or killing of life. Her vision is based on HER IDEAS not God’s. Much of the Democratic ideology is based on what Biden, Pelosi, John Kerry and Chuck Schumer think. God said “For My thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
As Christians we must endeavor to know what God’s Kingdom laws are. That takes reading the Word, studying the Word, asking God about His Word, asking our pastors about the Word, discussing with other Christians about the Word and most of all…..living like the Word. There are laws that we already know are Kingdom laws. Stand up for the Law of God. Don’t be ashamed nor be angry or defiant. We must be teachers of the law to the unsaved, apostate, and those not educated in their faith.
If we don’t teach others the vision God has given his people, then we will continue to have division. Lincoln quoted Jesus when he said, “A house divided will fall.” As you prepare to vote, remember the vision of how God’s Kingdom should be run. Elect leaders you believe will follow this same vision and purpose to pray for the leadership of our country to hear God’s voice and follow His ways.
May God continue to bless America!

Galatians 6:2 encourages fellow believers to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. As a community, we are bound together with the love of Christ. We exhibit that love through prayer for one another. Someone in our midst may be hurting, believing for a new job, seeking direction from God. When we come together in agreement for each other, we see God begin to work! We want to agree with you. We encourage our readers to let us know what we can all agree on for you. If you have a specific need that you would like us to pray for, let us know. The Word of God compels us to pray for one another in the community where we live. So agree with us as we pray for each other!
