Banned Books
Book burning or banning has been going on for a long time. The first recorded book burning was done in 213 BC by Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huang as a way to consolidate his power by not wiping out the books but putting them under government control. The subject that suffered the greatest loss was, of course, history.
Qin was one of many ancient rulers who felt threatened by ideas expressed in written form. Leaders of ancient Rome outlawed and burned books to prevent disorder. Writers that dissented against the Catholic church were put to death and books burned.

In 1440, the printing press was invented so there were more books but also a rise in literacy and more knowledge. Book burning and banning increased from the destruction of the U.S. Library of Congress during the War of 1812 and libraries that were destroyed across Europe during WWI and WWII. People, however, saw knowledge as a way to change themselves and the world.
The most infamous book burnings were: those staged by Hitler to prove they were victims of Jews, Mao Zedong who removed every book that didn’t conform to party propaganda and recently, the Jaffna Public Library of Sri Lanka where 100,000 rare books of Tamil history and literature were burned by Sinhalese Buddhists. |
Currently, in our country there are issues regarding books that should/should not be banned. PEN America was reported by main media as saying “Between July 2021 and June 2022, books were banned 2,532 times in public schools”. They, of course, want to make the bans appear to be homophobic, sexist, racist, etc. to prove that these bans come from uneducated, Christian, conservative, fascists and not concerned parents.
First lady Jill Biden said parents should not be able to exclude any books from school libraries in an interview on the “Today” show. She was asked, “Where’s the line, in your opinion, with how much of a say parents have when it comes to what their kids are learning in school? Is there a balance between, you know, ‘This book should be in the library, this book is under review … ’” Before Jones finished the question, Jill Biden jumped in: “All books should be in the library. All books. This is America. We don’t ban books.”
Then Jill’s husband later added to his thoughts: "Today, there are too many politicians trying to score political points, trying to ban books," Biden said. "Did you ever think when you were teaching, you’d be worrying about book burning and banning books all because it doesn’t fit someone’s POLITICAL AGENDA?" Yet, President Biden’s administration notified Amazon, the biggest bookseller in the world, to censor books that they disagree with, and Amazon complies without asking any questions. Now, this is as clear a violation of the First Amendment. |
Who has been banned? Aleksander Dugin is one of Russia's most famous authors and political philosophers. He doesn't work for the government; he doesn't work for Vladimir Putin. He's just a philosopher. So, if you're interested in like, "What are they thinking over there?'" you would search Dugin's author page on Amazon, but you would not find any results.
FOX NEWS reached out to Amazon regarding a list of banned books and they wouldn’t give the information. They said “Amazon complies with all applicable laws.” Then FOX learned that Amazon and the Justice Department were ignoring our Bill of Rights. Amazon apparently based its decision on a Treasury Department designation concerning "disinformation." And that designation applies not only to Dugin, but also to his family.
So, then FOX reached out to the Treasury Department. Did this really happen? Yeah, it did. They essentially confirmed it: "We don't comment on possible enforcement matters, but the Treasury Department continues to vigorously enforce Russia-related sanctions."
This is not surprising, as the Democratically controlled media (including FACEBOOK) canceled the thoughts and words of many Conservative thinkers and COVID vax concerns because it was determined to decide what Americans can and cannot hear or read. We were banned! WE WERE BANNED FOR POLITICAL REASONS!!!!
What is the difference between Biden’s banning and parental banning? One is for political reasons and the other for protection of our children. Big difference! I am especially concerned regarding the rewriting of history by 1619 Project, portrayal of all white people being racist by Critical Race Theory but most importantly the introduction of sexually explicit information to young children. I have seen books intended for kindergarten thru fourth grade with diagrams of sexual parts and sensitivity, indoctrination of “you can be a boy or girl” no matter what physical parts you have, and indoctrination into the LGBTQ+ ideologies. |
It is no wonder that there are so many confused children who under the influence of their equally confused parents are destroying their bodies by having sex changes. These kinds of books that try to twist sexual identity of our children must be banned from public school because we want all our children to know the TRUTH. The LGBTQ+ are lost in this “scientific” lie that has caused such destructive results and never addressed the emotional needs of hurting children.
