BECOMING ALL THAT GOD INTENDED
What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that
Thou dost care for him? Yet Thou hast made him a little lower than God, and dost
crown him with glory and majesty! Thou dost make him to rule over the works of Thy
hands, Thou hast put all things under his feet.
Psalm 8:4-6 NAS

Psalm 8:4-6 NAS
God made Adam from the dirt and made him in His image, according to His likeness, to rule (have dominion) over the earth. Adam was to run earth as God did heaven. Mankind was created a little lower than God. God took Adam and had him name the creatures of the earth, showing that his words were essential in creation of things. Adam had the Glory of God upon him to take dominion of the garden. Then God (the one God, made of three) took Adam (the likeness of God) and made a woman out of Adam’s body. The two together would become “one”. Unfortunately, they were seduced to rebellion and Adam lost dominion over the earth.
Then Jesus, born of Mary but conceived by the Spirit of God, came to earth and began speaking to fig trees and they died, speaking to the wind and it stopped, speaking to the waves and they quieted, touching the sick and they were healed because he carried God’s glory. He taught and revealed these things to His disciples and they confessed that the Word had become flesh and that they had beheld His glory. John said that as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God. As children of God, we carry His glory as we are being conformed to the image of Christ.
We see that Adam (the likeness of glory) had dominion and lost it. Jesus (the second Adam) came demonstrating God’s glory and dominion. Those that believe on Jesus and are being conformed to His image, carry His glory and dominion. These children then are to fulfill the original intent to bring His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
God would have you understand that He has adopted you into the family and that you are a brother/sister to Jesus. The things He did, you can do too. You have power to speak life or death into your situation. Negative words bring negative results. When you speak positive words, your life becomes more positive. If parents, friends, siblings etc. called you or put you in a classification you don’t belong to such as: lazy, poor, dumb, sickly, weak, unable and on and on, speak the words that God says about you. If you don’t know what God says about you or has given you, you need to read the “book” that contains all the information of abundant life.
As we consider all the events going on in our country and world, we need to speak blessings over our country, our neighborhoods, our families, our churches and our pastors. Your words will create blessings or curses. God said he will hold us accountable for every idle (thoughtless) word we speak. That should make all of us more careful with our words.
We all have great purpose in life, but the things of this world will steal your purpose, finances, health and joy if you don’t plant the word of truth in your heart. The blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14 are still available today. Remember, you have dominion authority to bring the Kingdom to earth.

Community Prayer List
Galatians 6:2 encourages fellow believers to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. As a community, we are bound together with the love of Christ. We exhibit that love through prayer for one another. Someone in our midst may be hurting, believing for a new job, seeking direction from God. When we come together in agreement for each other, we see God begin to work! We want to agree with you. We encourage our readers to let us know what we can all agree on for you. If you have a specific need that you would like us to pray for, let us know. The Word of God compels us to pray for one another in the community where we live. So agree with us as we pray for each other!
