Liberty's Kids is a video series that teaches about the U.S. Constitution, the events of the Revolutionary War, the Boston Tea Party, the Civil War, and more. The stories are centered around teen reports that cover events for Benjamin Franklin’s newspaper, The Philadelphia Gazette. They are always on a mission to find the truth and report it with the help of their friends. Along the way, they encounter problems but work together as a team to solve them. The shows are clean, wholesome, and appropriate for mid-elementary and older students. These are a great resource to pair up with history lessons and to allow ongoing discussions. The exciting part is they can all be found on YouTube for free.

EyeWitness to History is a resource that provides world and US history articles for middle and high school students. At the top of the page you will find different topics categorized by century or event. Within each tab, you will find multiple articles. The neat part about each of these articles is they are told by the perspective of those who lived in that moment. They also provide historical photos, voice clips, and videos. This resource is free and has many historical topics to research and discuss.

Heroes of Liberty is a new children’s book series that we shared with you in January. This month we shared the amazing testimony of Thomas Sowell on our Conservative Thought page. In this book, you will find beautifully detailed pictures that sketch his life. The story tells of a strong-willed young man that refused to accept excuses or handouts. It goes on to share how he grew up to educate college students and leaders on what it takes to find the path to success. Students 2nd through 5th grade will enjoy reading this amazing story while all grades and ages will be inspired.

so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures
and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
