Are You An Artisan? Looking for a place to sell your wares?First Fruit Creations is an online artisan shop that currently hosts several different artists. This commercial site is locally owned and operated as a platform for individuals to have their own stores where customers can purchase products securely. FFC would like to extend the invitation to any artists, farmers, crafters, bakers, or anyone along the corridor who would like to have their products online, but don't want to have to pay large amounts for it. First Fruits would charge a initial setup fee, and then a minimal yearly fee after that. Our web creator will work with you to get your storefront setup.
If you have ever wanted to sell your creations online, but don't want to have to pay for hosting sites like Etsy, then this might be the place to get started (Etsy charges 20 cents per listing plus processing and transaction fees). Although our site does charge for individual transactions through Stripe, you'll pay a flat rate to have your items created online and available for purchase. Initial storefront setup: $50, plus $1 for each item. An item will be a single product (a bar of soap, t-shirt, bath bomb - but can have many variations like sizes, prices, colors, fragrances, etc). After initial storefront setup, artisans will pay a yearly fee of $50 for hosting, maintenance and consultation help from the web creator. Perhaps you already have your own website or Facebook page, and maybe you just want to have a link on the First Fruit Creations Artisan site that takes folks to your page. We would like to do this for any artisan for free. Interested? Please fill out this Google Form with your information to let us know what level of involvement you would like. You can also check out the site to get an idea of what your individual artisan stores might look like. We look forward to helping you sell your products! |
Christmas Decoration Contest Winners
Country Citizens would like to thank all of the households in Wolf Creek Estates, Strasburg for their participation in this year's Christmas Decoration contest. The community joined forces to light up the neighborhood. It was a tough decision to make, but we were able to narrow down our top three choices. These winners will receive a gift card for their hard work. Along with the top three prizes, we have also chosen the Top 10 houses that exuded amazing light displays, clever themes and all around pleasing Christmas cheer. Congrats to everyone, and thank you for helping make the season bright!
The I-70 Corridor is not short on events for the whole family. Check out the Corridor Community calendar. This comprehensive calendar hosts events from the entire corridor, and it is a resource for everyone. Do you have an event coming up that you would like the whole community to know about?
