LAUREN BOEBERT IS COMING TO TOWN
I’m sure that most of you have heard already that Lauren Boebert is leaving Colorado’s District 3 to move to District 4 and run for Ken Buck’s vacated congressional seat. This of course has caused criticism from those in District 3 who fear a Democratic win for her seat and criticism from bidders in District 4 that want to fill Buck’s shoes. Let me comment on both issues here and perhaps give a different perspective.
First of all, Lauren Boebert deserves the right, as we all do, to live wherever she wants. If she is willing to move to District 4 then “Hooray” and welcome to the conservative eastern plains! I am sure there are other Republicans or conservatives who could step up and get involved in District 3 to hold back the liberal wokeism and brainwashed socialists. STEP UP!
Then there are cries from Republicans on the Eastern Plains that her move is unfair…I’m sure that is because they had aspirations of filling the empty seat of Buck. Many may be Trump haters, so-called RHINO’s, or other divisionists. We need unity in the party, not more of the same infighting like the Republicans who want to deny our right to vote for Trump in the primary. All should be allowed to run for office without prejudice, without backbiting and gossip. Let the people decide for themselves, then accept the decision and get on with life.
Some say she does not understand Eastern Slope problems. That is “baloney” for even though she lived in Rifle (Western Slope) her district included Pueblo, Trinidad, Colorado Springs and all surrounding cities (Eastern Slope). She represented both areas equally. Her interests were focused on ranching and farming, water rights, veterans’ care, support of oil and gas production, and gun rights. That should cover problems of both conservative areas.

Both Western and Eastern Slopes have much in common. We need to unite and work together to rid our state of radical, illogical and socialistic views and ensure our state is a land that honors the Constitution, citizen’s rights and God given values. Let’s get over our differences and welcome a fellow conservative to our area.
