As we celebrate the Christmas spirit this December, we should also celebrate those who represent the spirit of Christmas. The sentiment of good will towards men (and women) is alive and well in Byers. The Eastern Plains Women's Resource Center was established as a place for assistance for women who are making decisions with pregnancy, and intervention for expanding families. The EPWRC provides a monthly service to families who are in need of essentials like diapers, wipes and other items. They make every effort to assist where they can with family needs, free of charge and with no income checks. Whether it be counseling, therapy, or material services, all are welcome. This amazing resource has impacted many lives along the corridor.
Deb Jackson, the EPWRC Director, is excited to announce that the non-profit is once again working towards providing a Christmas shopping opportunity for mothers to come and shop for their family. If you, or your church would like to participate in providing donations or goods for young children and moms for Christmas, please contact Deb at 303-822-9368.
